What is ozone therapy?
This is the use of medical ozone mixed with oxygen. Low concentrations and strictly regulated volumes are used. There are local and systemic methods. In rehabilitation practice, local injection techniques are used in the area of affected tissues, periarticularly and paravertebrally, as well as non-drug options for skin and soft tissues. The methods are selected individually, taking into account the diagnosis and concomitant conditions.

Indications:
The doctor makes the selection of indications after examining and analyzing the images and studies. The program may include
- Pain syndrome in lumbar disc herniation during the period without severe neurological deficit;
- Xronic musculoskeletal pain according to rehabilitation protocols;
- Locular inflammatory processes of soft tissues outside the acute phase as prescribed by a doctor;
- Inrehabilitation tasks as part of complex therapy.

- G6PD deficiency;
- Pregnancy and lactation;
- Uncontrolled thyrotoxicosis;
- Severe cardiovascular pathology and decompensation;
- Blood clotting disorders and taking anticoagulants without consulting a doctor;
- Acute infections and fever;
- Oncological diseases in the active phase;
- Individual intolerance to procedures.
The method is not used for contraindications. Side effects are possible. The decision is made by the doctor after assessing the risks and benefits.
