Antler baths
Antler baths in Nehama Sanatorium are an aquatic therapeutic SPA procedure with maral antler extract, in which biologically active substances penetrate the body through the skin and help combat the effects of stress, age—related changes and chronic fatigue. After the course, immunity increases, resistance to stress increases, aging processes slow down, metabolism and performance return to normal, joint pain decreases, memory improves, and symptoms of chronic fatigue disappear. Experts recommend taking four courses of 10 baths every other day every year to maintain a biologically younger age and active longevity.
What are antler baths?
Antler (maral) baths are procedures with an extract of young deer antlers, rich in amino acids, peptides and trace elements that enter the bloodstream through the skin and have a systemic effect. Baths stimulate blood circulation and microcirculation, strengthen blood vessels, support the cardiovascular system, promote muscle relaxation, increase overall tone, eliminate toxins and toxins, and have a pronounced restorative and rejuvenating effect. Antler baths also support sexual functions: they help restore potency in men and normalize sexual functions in women.
Indications:
Antler (maral) baths are recommended for:
- Osteochondrosis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis with radicular syndrome, joint diseases;

- Cardiac disorders (angina pectoris, coronary artery disease under medical supervision);

- Diseases of the respiratory system outside the acute period (bronchitis, bronchial asthma in the recovery phase);
- Diseases of the genitourinary system;
- Obesity and metabolic disorders;
- Chronic fatigue syndrome, fatigue, asthenic conditions;
- The need for detoxification: removal of nicotine and alcohol intoxication.

Antler baths are not prescribed or prescribed with extreme caution when:
- acute infectious and inflammatory diseases;
- oncological diseases;
- severe somatic conditions, severe cardiovascular pathology, arrhythmias and severe coronary heart disease;
- severe hypertension and uncontrollably high blood pressure;
- active allergy, including to antler extract components;
- tuberculosis, severe kidney and liver diseases, exacerbation of chronic diseases of these organs;
- epilepsy, severe injuries and brain diseases;
- pregnancy and, as a rule, lactation;
- open wounds and fresh fractures.
The decision on admission to procedures is made by the doctor after examination and assessment of concomitant diseases.
