The whirlpool baths in Nehama Sanatorium are hydromassage baths for hands and feet in warm water. The jets create gentle eddies, improve blood circulation and relieve puffiness. The procedure relaxes, reduces pain and restores lightness in the arms and legs.
When taking a hand bath, the patient sits on a chair near the bathtub, opposite the installed nozzles, and dips his hand into the water. When taking a foot bath, the patient sits on a special chair and immerses one or both feet in water.
The therapeutic effect of whirlpool baths is close to massage, improves the tone of the veins and reduces swelling. Warm water has analgesic, resorbing, anti-inflammatory and antispastic effects on the body.
These are compact bathtubs with nozzles. The water circulates in a circle and creates directional flows around the hands or feet. The temperature and flow strength are adjusted by a specialist. For the hands, use a tabletop bath with immersion of one hand or both in turn. A sitting bath with immersion of one or both legs is used for the legs.
The final admission to the procedures is issued by a specialist after an examination.
